Shades of gold 🐝

I work with two honey producers and depending on when they harvest their lots of honey and what kind of pollen their bees prefer, the color of the wax varies.

The super light and creamy yellow is the beeswax I use in my solid cream. This wax is collected in early spring and as Fabrice explains to me, at a period when « the bees haven’t even had the chance to get their paws on their own wax ».

I am always wanting to learn more.

For this soap, I was going for wood grain, but ended up with more of a “Starry Night” vibes but I’m totally ok with that!
